How do I pay my water bill?

Water bills are issued quarterly. Pay by cash, cheque, or electronic funds transfer (EFT/online banking). Contact accounting at ext. 101 for account questions.

How do I find out my property tax rate?

Residential properties are taxed at 1.66% plus 0.10% fire area rate. Commercial at 3.16% plus 0.10%. Sewer is included. Bills are issued April 30 and October 30.

How do I apply for a building permit?

Contact Town Hall for a development, building, or occupancy permit application. Heritage properties (pre-1940) require Planning and Heritage Advisory Committee review first.

Garbage, recyclables, and compost are collected every second Friday by Valley Waste. Pick up a calendar at Town Hall or visit vwrm.com.

Contact the Annapolis Royal Police Service at (902) 532-2427. Both online and paper options are available. Processing takes 2 to 5 business days.
